Owen is officially walking!!! Here is the video I took today of him finally getting brave enough to walk all around by himself. He has been able to walk for sometime, just needed to courage to do it alone! Owen sticks out his arms straight out when he walks; Shad calls it the 'Frankenstein walk', the 'Mummy Walk', or the 'Robot Walk'... which ever you want to call it those little steps are CUTE! :) And I'm happy Owen waited those two weeks for his daddy to come home, so he could be here to witness the main event!
So... this is a cell phone video, it isn't exactly "quality" and I couldn't figure out how to get it into imovie to put music to it to block our conversation. So.... just ignore our excited chatter in the background. (My mom calls my dad in excitement, stuff like that...etc!). Plus we just got back from our trip to Utah yesterday (which I will blog about soon!) so try and ignore the mess and our luggage still out on the floor! Also I couldn't figure out how to edit it down, so its about 4 1/2 minutes long. Don't feel obligated to watch the whole thing! :) Just enjoy a minute or so of our little man walking around!

That is totally adorable! I love it when they realize they can do it by themselves. Also, have you ever tried using onetruemedia.com for editing. Videos from my phone go on there pretty easily.
YAY OWEN!!!! That is some SERIOUS walking!!! ha ha and I love your mom in the background, "Owen is WALKING!...YES!!" ha ha I can't even wait to see all of you! AAAHHHHHH!!! I went shopping on Saturday and got some cute clothes to bring ha ha

LOVE the robot walk! His little arms are too cute! He's going so fast, too. Riley was so cautious when she started walking. She was so slow! She's just now starting to move as fast as Owen is in that video. Haha.
