Hair Dilemma!

My hair is getting SO long and out of control!! Its growing so fast and furious! It's the longest Shad has ever seen my hair, and the longest I've had it probably since my freshman year at BYU. Shad is ready for me to cut it off again. However, right now it's so easy to do and just throw up if I need to. So I'm thinking for the first few months that baby is here it might be easier for me to keep it long and easy. However, I'm getting the major itch to hack if off. What do you think? Cut it short and cute, or leave it long and more manageable for a couple months?

Here are some pics of my short hair... different colors of course! Ha!

Also for your viewing pleasure, here is me at 34 weeks already!!! (with long hair!) Just about ready to get this little boy out. 6 weeks left!

You are so cute! Funny you posted this, because I had Laney about 3 weeks ago, and my hair is now the shortest it's ever been as of two days ago. I also have the itch to cut my hair after I have a baby because I feel SO not cute. Getting a haircut is a way for me to feel good again, AND it forces me to do my hair when I don't feel like it- which is a good thing. So I say CUT IT!! Or maybe wait until after labor so you can wear it up for those hours!

you are so cute! i LOVE you in short hair, but the throwing it in a ponytail will prove to be SO NICE
for his first few weeks/months or whatever! Also, if you're itching for change NOW, you just wait until after that little boy comes. Maybe it was just me, but I needed SOMETHING to make me feel a little pretty, and a nice hair cut did the trick!
I miss you!

CUTE PICTURE!! I'm ready to see him :D CUT IT! CUT IT! CUT IT!!! As a nanny, I found that yes, it can sometimes be easier to just put your hair up. However, with short hair, it is still out of your face and you actually look like you have a hair-do instead of just a ponytail. I say dfeinitely cut it.

Yes, really did get him a nose hair trimmer. I have been wanting to for a long time and I guess I felt like we have been married long enough that I could do it now.

I always love your hair, but I am totally opposite of you every time I cut it I wish it were long again. I am just getting to the point where I can put it in a pony without half of my hair falling out because it is too short. But you do short hair better than me so I think you will be just fine when you cut it (cause I know your going to do it)

Well, you can definately take comfort in knowing that you look really good with short hair AND with long hair! Which is pretty cool, because not many people can pull both off. That being said, I would leave it long, I have never had a baby, but it just seems easier to have the option to pull it back, at least for the first few weeks! Then chop it off!

I can't believe you only have 6 weeks left, I am so excited for you guys!

You've got it figured out. I would enjoy the freedom of long hair for a little longer. Then it will feel even better to chop it in the spring time!! I love your hair short though, you pull it off SO WELL!!

We are so excited that your wait for a baby is almost over! You are a darling pregnant lady...and will be a cute new mom. Looking forward to seeing the photos of your new family all together! I love your hair short. Even though I am normally a fan of long hair. We sure love you and Shad! Congratulations on the count down to a birth day!

LEAVE IT LONG OR I'LL BE ANGERED... maybe a trim :) but not too long in the front we don't want a Kate Gosselin situation lol... not that I think you would do that.

I think you should leave it long, at least for right now! It is fun to see you in long hair. I would like to see it in person before you feel you have to cut it! :} Love Mom McOmber
